The URI Office of Strategic Initiatives, in partnership with the College of Business, offers certification in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow and Black Belts. Lean Six Sigma is recognized globally for enhancing operations and business strategies through data-driven project management.
LSS certification demonstrates proficiency in using data for problem-solving, rectifying process defects, and minimizing waste. A versatile credential across industries like technology, finance, healthcare, and education, Six Sigma enables a lean approach for efficient resource optimization without compromising customer commitment, quality, or corporate culture.
Our programs incorporate personalized mentorship, which supports participants in applying what they are learning to a work project. The project, identified and developed with the support of participants’ employers, will be within 12 months.
