Identity: I love who I love

What motivates you to be visible on campus?

I choose to be out and proud to support the URI community, especially our students. I want everyone in the LGBTQ+ community to know that they are not alone. Everyone should be welcome on our campus regardless of the way they identify.

I choose not to label myself because I have never felt comfortable with doing so. Simply put, I love who I love, no matter their gender identity. I want everyone to know that it’s okay to not fit into a box and to just be YOU.
