Daniel Perez-Torres, a sophomore in chemical engineering, was received an award from the RI-INBRE SURF Program to do research on the development of quercetin-loaded nanocomposite microparticles for the treatment of pulmonary diseases. Daniel joined the lab this past spring and is also in the Honors Program. Congrats, Daniel!
