We are thrilled to share exciting news from the recent American Physical Therapy Association APTA Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in Anaheim, California!
We had 9 posters at CSM ranging from geriatrics, neurology, and education. Dr. Christine Clarkin, PT, DPT, PhD and Dr. Ken Vinacco, PT, DPT, NCS along with our 3rd year student technology category. Our outstanding student and faculty team earned top honors for their research poster presentation, a remarkable achievement at one of the largest physical therapy conferences in the country. Their hard work, innovation, and dedication to advancing evidence-based practice were recognized among a highly competitive field of presenters.
In addition, Dr. Ken Vinacco, PT, DPT, NCS received the prestigious ANPT Special Interest Group Award – Degenerative Diseases from the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. This award recognizes his dedicated service, leadership, and meaningful contributions to the Degenerative Diseases Special Interest Group and the broader neurologic physical therapy community.
These accomplishments highlight the strength of our program’s commitment to research, mentorship, and clinical excellence. We are incredibly proud of our students and Dr. Vinacco for representing our institution with distinction on a national stage.
