Congratulations to Physical Therapy Professor Dr. Pete Blanpied who was named the 2017 inaugural College of Health Sciences Excellence in Teaching award winner. In recognizing Dr. Blanpied, Dr. Gary Liguori, Dean of the College, noted “Dr. B., as his students refer to him by, asserts to make conscious efforts to remain an expert of the contemporary knowledge in his focused discipline within physical therapy.  His passion for teaching and preparing students to be competent and respected clinicians and graduates of URI is infectious.” Dr. Blanpied is shown here accepting his award with Associate Dean Dr. Deb Riebe and Dean Dr. Gary Liguori.
