Dr. Ellen McGough, PT, PhD, URI PT Department Chair, received the Academic Partner of the Year Award from PACE Organization of Rhode Island. She was recognized for implementing an exercise program designed for people living with dementia. The EM STAR video exercise program is now in use every day across our PACE-RI locations. McGough and her students are now working with PACE-RI to develop the programming in several languages and for remote delivery to PACE participants in their homes.
