Congratulations to Erin Sayles (’20), she has been selected for the position of Special Assistant to the Vice Speaker at the House of Delegates taking place June 10th-June 12th, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Erin is the Rhode Island Core Ambassador for the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) Student Assembly as well. Core Ambassadors for the APTA promote and increase student engagement within their state chapter, along with other responsibilities. 

The House of Delegates (House) is an APTA policy-making body comprised of voting chapter delegates, non-voting delegates, and consultants. The House meets annually for 3 successive days each spring, during which time delegates make decisions on issues that may have far-reaching implications for the association and for the profession of physical therapy.
