Dr. Blanpied, Dr. Clarkin and 9 students attended APTA CSM in Denver, Colorado from February 12th-15th, 2020. APTA CSM is a Combined Sections Meeting that includes all specialities within Physical Therapy. During the conference there were multiple presentations that focused on specific areas in Physical Therapy which include: Acute Care, Neuro, Home Health, Vestibular, Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, Education, Research, Orthopedics and more. Our Professors and students were able to attend presentations by some of the leading clinicians and faculty in their field. Poster presentations were also featured at the conference, which demonstrated work / research currently being conducted. CSM had an exhibit hall which showcased different equipment, some are not common in certain clinical settings, which allowed everyone to learn about what is currently available to Physical Therapists in various settings. They networked with like minded people and created potential collaborative relationships. Overall, it was a wonderful conference that our Professors and students greatly enjoyed.
