Experiential Learning

A requirement of the Quantum Computing MS is an internship, which may be at a company, national lab or institute. The objective is to give the student hands-on experience in the development and application of algorithms, quantum computers, frontier research. At the same time, ongoing research at URI will augment the student’s classroom experience. A research project supervised by URI faculty or approved external advisors is a requirement for graduation.
