What would you tell your freshman self?

It’s never too early to reach out for opportunities! You will never know what might work out in your favor unless you take the initiative and reach out.

How has pre-health advising been a service to you?

Pre-health advising was one of the things that drew me to URI. The comparatively smaller size allows students to build personal relationships with the advisors which allows for more personalized guidance and advice. Talking to the advisors helped me understand all of the requirements I would need to meet to be a successful medical school applicant in addition to helping me gauge what types of classes I need to take.
