Student Leadership Award Application

Named after Maureen McDermott, former Director of the Memorial Union and Student Involvement, the Student Leadership Award recognizes a student who contributes positively to the URI community, empowers others, and inspires those around them.

Student Leadership Questions

  1. How do you define Leadership?
  2. What do you enjoy most about your leadership activities and what do you least enjoy?
  3. How have your leadership and involvement experiences changed you or contributed to your personal growth and development?
  4. During your time at URI what problems do you find prevalent? How might you go about resolving them?
