Interacting with Art
Art Professor, Barabara Pagh trained as a two-dimensional printmaker, but it is in her three-dimensional sculptural installations that one finds true harmony between art and artist. Her work highlights the interaction between ancient cultures and the modern viewer through the megalithic stone constructions left on the landscape.
In her latest show at the University’s main gallery, Alignments, Pagh capped off a trilogy of public exhibitions, which began in 2002 with her examination of Scotland’s megalithic stone circle structures. The pieces, that take inspiration from sites in Scotland, Ireland, and Brittany.
