Instrumentation Update

  1. Thermo U3000 HPLC

Our Shimadzu Nexera-I, the only HPLC at CRCF, experienced a malfunction that required a substantial amount of funds for repair. In response, Dr. Bongsup Cho has generously transferred his HPLC to CRCF, making it available for all users.

  1. Leica Ivesta Stereoscope

We purchased a Leica Ivesta Stereoscope following a successful demonstration in April. This stereoscope has quickly become popular and is in high demand among our users. It has already been utilized for events such as the URI College of Pharmacy High School Exploration and URI Welcome Day. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in the INBRE 2024 summer Workforce Development and Training Program, particularly in the worm model neurobiology studies. Users can now reserve the stereoscope on ClusterMarket.
