Dr. Alisa Baron, University of Rhode Island, has been recognized by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association on three separate occasions!
Dr. Baron received a $5,000 award for Advancing Academic-Research Career Award (Duration: 2020-2022) and was also recognized with the Continuing Education Award (Duration: 2020-2023). In addition, she also received the Pathways Program Fellow Award (Duration: 2020-2021).
Dr. Baron is an Assistant Professor of Communicative Disorders in the College of Health Sciences. She is researching “Neurobiological markers of language and literacy in bilingual children” with her co-investigator Dr. Vanessa Harwood, on their RI-INBRE Early Career Development award (2019-2021).
