The Bioinformatics Pilot Project (BPP) is an RI-INBRE mechanism to promote sequencing and bioinformatics projects at the primarily undergraduate institutions (PUI’s) in Rhode Island. The BPP provides vouchers up to $10,000 to initiate sequencing based projects with the MIC or other providers. While the BPP covers any bioinformatics/sequencing protocol, it’s primarily intended to produce pilot data that can be used for future funding proposals.
