The Oxford Nanopore PromethION 2 Integrated is a desktop ultra-high throughput sequencer that is capable of sequencing both DNA and RNA. This system is ideal for metagenomics, large-genome sequencing, isoform-level transcriptomics, and direct RNA sequencing (including alternate base calls associated with DNA/RNA modifications). This machine greater expands RI-INBRE’s multi-omics capabilities.
