Aspirin VR

Exploring the history, clinical applications and pharmacology of aspirin in virtual reality.

The 3D structure of the aspirin molecule

Aspirin is one of the most well-known pharmaceuticals and its precursor has been used since ancient times as a pain reliever.  Along with its well-known pain relief and anti-inflammatory, aspirin is also used as a blood thinner and may reduce the risk of some types of cancer.  As our first prototype VR application, we developed an interactive virtual museum that allows users to learn about the history, clinical applications and pharmacology of aspirin.  We are currently developing a new version of the app that takes into account lessons learned from the development of all of our VR/AR apps.
