Dr. Bongsup Cho is the Primary Investigator for RI-INBRE and Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in the College of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Cho has studied the effects of environmental toxins such as cigarette smoke, diesel fumes, and charred meat on DNA mutation as potential triggers for cancer, for more than 20 years. His areas of expertise are cancer, cigarettes, DNA damage and repair, genes, genetics, medicine, and therapy.
