At the MIC, we have licenses for the following software:

Spartan – Computational chemistry and small molecules

Molecular Operating Environment (MOE) – Full scale drug discovery platform

Please contact Chris Hemme for information on using the software.

In addition to paid software licenses, we also utilize a variety of open source tools including:

USCF Chimera and USCF ChimeraX – Popular tools for molecular visualizations.  We use Chimera for 3D printing of molecules and ChimeraX for VR visualization.

Nanome – Molecular visualization in virtual reality.  Nanome includes docking and virtual room functionalities.

UnityMol – Molecular viewer and prototyping platform for use in molecular visualizations in Unity (VR).
