The MIC maintains a variety of VR resources for use by students and faculty
The MIC collaborates with the URI Student Technology Assistants (STA) Program operated through URI Information Technology Services (ITS) in VR/AR app development. URI faculty and collaborators interested in developing VR/AR apps and/or incorporating VR/AR into their curriculum are encouraged to contact the MIC and STA to discuss potential projects.
The MIC maintains 4 VR headsets (1 HTC Vive, 3 HTC Cosmos) with the URI College of Pharmacy (COP). Faculty or students interested in using the headsets should contact Chris Hemme (hemmecl@uri.edu).
