Train the Trainer Workshop
One of the goals of RI-INBRE for the future is to increase bioinformatics education and training at the primarily undergraduate institutions (PUI’s). As part of this goal, we encourage Rhode Island PUI investigators to attend the Train the Trainer (T3) workshop held annually in Maine by the New Hampshire and Maine INBRE programs. In 2020, three of our INBRE researchers attended the virtual conference and learned topics such as Unix command line and basic sequence analysis. The T3 program is a great opportunity for researchers to be introduced to bioinformatics methods and we encourage Rhode Island researchers to consider attending this summer’s session.
