Rhode Island NSF EPSCoR’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship program provides undergraduate students from across the Ocean State with an unparalleled research experience that transcends their exposure to the science fields during the academic year.
The research projects are conducted under the guidance of faculty mentors, who are a part of the RI NSF EPSCoR community, investigating the impact of climate change on marine life and ecosystems.
In addition, the SURF program introduces students to opportunities for professional development and enhancing science communication skills. Take a look at how the fellows will be spending their time outside the lab and out of the field: RI EPSCoR SURF 2015 schedule
