Scholarships

cadet doing field training

Campus-based scholarships are available to qualified students. These scholarships are highly-competitive and can pay benefits ranging in length from 2-4 years in return for a period of service following graduation. Scholarships pay for full tuition and mandatory fees, for both resident and non-resident students. Scholarship awardees also receive a book allowance and a tax-free monthly stipend to defray the cost of living.

If you are a high school senior and wish to apply for a four-year ROTC scholarship to attend the University of Rhode Island, you can complete an application here and contact Vance Dewey at vance_dewey@uri.edu to schedule an on-campus interview with the Professor of Military Science.
