The Science & Story Lab serves to foster collaborative communication projects across disciplines to accelerate and amplify scientific storytelling, literacy, and messaging. Housed within URI’s Harrington School of Communication and Media, The Lab builds on URI’s nationally recognized Inclusive SciComm framework and its partners at the Metcalf Institute to:
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers and multi-platform storytellers
- Produce innovative science communication and media deliverables designed for impact.
- Create experiential education opportunities for students
