Biography

Mia Ramirez is a Second-Year Student at The University of Rhode Island in the College of Business and College of Arts and Sciences. Pursuing degrees in Textile Merchandising, Design, and Public Relations. Mia assists as a SEA Advisor in the Student Event Advising (SEA) Office, helping with event registration and coordination, as well as engages students on campus. In addition to her role in the SEA Office, Mia serves as the director of Alumni Engagement for her social sorority Sigma Delta Tau, a Business 101 Mentor, and a member of the Sigma Delta Pi Business Fraternity.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Mia is passionate about building community and creativity at URI. Rhody gave her a new home and family she is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for future students.  

Fun Facts: Mia has visited seven countries, loves trying new foods and restaurants, and post grad aspires to build a career in Fashion Public Relations.
