• Meet on Thursdays at 6 in CBLS
• 14 undergrad members, 8 associate (graduate) members, 1 faculty advisor
  • grad students do not vote during elections
• Elections were held to standard
• Purpose: to apply their wetland knowledge to hands on projects
• Goals: work with young students, work with scientists and outreach coordinators at GSO, want to arrange field trips out into the marshes, attend national conference in the summer
• Other notes: many wetland scientist are on campus, many other campuses have chapters
  • might receive funding from the umbrella organization
• Recommended as an Unfunded Student Organization
