DISCUSSION:

Last Week Academic Complaint

  • Permission Numbers for Organic Chemistry Labs was given to the seniors that struggle communicating with their adviser about this matter.

1st Academic Complaint

  • Adviser and Dean’s Office agreed to accept transfer credit as a replacement for a concentration course. Later on, this promise was discarded and transfer credit was granted as a free elective. This delayed the student goal to graduate in 4 years.

2nd Academic Complaint

  • Adviser fail to advice correctly about what classes to take on the fall semester. Now the necessary class conflicts with other required class on the spring semester. This conflict may affect the student goal to graduate on May 2015.

Readership Program

  • Do we really need it? If we continued with it we should decide how many? Where? Which newspaper? It will definitely be online, not printed version.
  • Although the library systems has a small access to the same of the above. It is more limited.

URI 101

  • University College will be changing the name for next year.
  • It will have a stronger academic focus and resources inside the department, with people on the same year and college.
