DISCUSSION:
TOPIC 1: DOC Sardihna and Chair Morabito went to talk to the OMBUDs
- OMBUD coming to public forum during late October or early November
- They have no idea what Academic Affairs or Senate does
- Confused but happy that we also get academic complaints
- Want to reach out the name of the OMBUD to HRL and more
- No one really knows what they OMBUD does
- There are there for “if people have been treated unfairly”
- They are looking into the programs Early Alert and Anchor
- Their office is in Roosevelt at 138A

TOPIC 2: Indigenous People’s Day
- Meet with director of MSSC to discuss
- He thinks it may be a losing fight
- Might send president Adriana with questions about indigenous people’s day during her meeting with Dooley
- As long as we are making progress it is still worth looking at
TOPIC 3: Council of Post Secondary Education
- RI Post-Secondary Councel comes to URI a few times on Wednesdays at 6pm
TOPIC 4: Elections Day
- Chair Straube knows someone who may “have a way to get elections day off for URI students”

- Can Gage’s Dad really donate school supplies from Rite Aid?
- Senator Newbury taking a lead the school supply donation project
- Final exam rights need to be dome before 2 weeks before finals, probably in November
