I. Academic
- Fielding complaints, talking to deans
- Putting poster up in Hope through reading days, posters already up in all the dorms
- Mass email campaign
- Going to sit down with deans, Provost, ombud before the end of the year
- Budget set aside for college readership, going to fix kiosks over the summer
- Maybe set up longer contract so that price of newspapers does not increase exponentially
- Going to talk to Paul Whitney in bookstore for next year
II. Finance
- Going to have a committee meeting after or during finals to discuss next year
- Problem with groups trying to rush things last minute
- Summer budget done (8 groups)
- We have NO money
III. Secretary
- Kudos: Giana has done basically everything for Rammies
- Bedard for script?
IV. Campus
- 2 bills
- Survey results steady across race (560 people)
- Going to change resolves in arming police bill to make them more specific
- Bill supporting research site 7-0-0
- Most people on exec do not support
- Carothers even said we do not need to build it
- Do the ends justify the means?
- Will building facility destabilize land?
- Bill should say that we want to protect forest for all time but we support research facility being built on another location
- This option has a consensus from exec and bill on floor will be amended to reflect this new bill
V. Cultural
- Rammy’s are tomorrow- senate should be there at 6 p.m. Everything is set
- Multi-cultural roundtable October 18th to address diversity and such.
- No updates on dance crew
- First Night looking good
- Budget Brigade
- Senate might be having pens for elections/First Night
VI. SOARC
- Lisa Chen sent link to Kim to get student organization website up and running

VII. Vice President
- BBQ location up in the air
- Retreat Sunday, September 27th
- Committee minutes/attendance must go to Vidhi’s email

- Talked about Rammies announced winners, decided on organization of the year (Uhuru Sasa), president of year (Joel)
- Dave and Sinapi are going to redo Research Park bill tomorrow
