Finance

• Inventory- Need an official inventory because was not done for past few years. Going to make or buy a program so that it is on the computer.
• Finding a way to computerize forms (i.e. purchase requests, etc.)
• At dances have tickets with the cashbox so that we know how many people are actually attending.

SOARC

• Changing the names of the levels because we don’t want the idea of a hierarchy. Also want to change the descriptions, make them simpler. This should be done before the fall.
• Keep on top of groups for re-recognition.
• Inform groups of deadlines and responsibilities so things run smoothly (especially during transitions between presidents).

Academic

• Get more student input; have Provost get Student Advisory Committee in Academic Affairs.
• Utilize college reps more.
• Have people respond through website (like complaint forms).
• Exam Rights Campaign- We hope it’s a success so that we can do it next year!!
• Reform IDEA’s again, preferably add some questions we think are important.

External

• Continue with the lawsuit throughout the summer.
• Branch out to community more, create a face to outside community. Block parties and intramural teams within neighborhoods can facilitate this.
• Meet with Coalition
• Create a positive image of our students/ unite community.
• Bring a guest speaker- police officer explaining what to do and what not to do when dealing with police officers.

Cultural

• Have a cultural roundtable with multi-cultural presidents sometime in September.
• Run Holiday Fair (October or February)
• Have a show with 500 Family with some performers from America’s Best Dance Crew
• Rammie’s again!!
• State of the University Address

Campus

• Comment forms online
• Dorm security
• Northwoods
• GPS bus tracking
• Sports facilities (budget management)
• Ellery Pond
• Lands and ground (ice/ flooding)
• Parking violations
• Student loan timetable/ interest
• Online voting
• Safety and lighting

DOC

• Work with groups more (advertising) and website on facebook
• Help senators to utilize the position of DOC, teach them about uses
• Update information out on campus about Senate
• Make freshmen aware of Senate

Treasurer

• Pay the bills
• Make a more effective, balanced budget (use a debit/credit system using Excel)

Vice President

• Stay on planning social events (BBQ, formal, etc.)
• Make sure attendance and minutes from committee meetings are complete and in on time.

President

• Same as committees’ goals
• “Don’t become complacent!!”
• Work with new President of the University and establish a relationship, meet at least twice over the summer
• Connect with freshmen at Freshmen Institute
• Make sure everyone pulls his or her weight
