We are excited to have you join our community and register for courses. Please review the following information:
1) It takes up to 2 business days to process your deposit. Once your deposit is posted, read up on how to prepare for your registration date, and find out who your URI advisor is. Please call 401.874.2993 if you need help scheduling an advising appointment. Our Transfer Student Success email, transferadmission@uri.edu is often the best way for us to initially assist you.
2) Review the Rhode to Becoming a Ram website and the URI Student Gateway Pages which includes checklists and resources.
Your Gateway to URI
Please visit the URI Gateway Page to set-up essential accounts and access important links to “Getting Started with IT”, support services, housing, dining, financial aid, jobs, health services, and student involvement.
Official Transcripts
We must receive your official transcript(s) from previous institution(s). Electronic transcripts are the best way for us to quickly post your credits and should be sent to transferadmission@uri.edu. If you need to mail your transcript(s), please have them sent to: URI Undergraduate Admission, 14 Upper College Road, Kingston, RI, 02881
Academic Enhancement Center
Be sure to utilize your many learning resources provided by the Academic Enhancement Center. Services include study skills courses, tutoring, writing consultation, tools for you to be successful in online courses, and much more. Students with learning challenges and identified disabilities are encouraged to contact the Office of Disability Services for Students (see below for more information).

The office of Disability, Access, and Inclusion’s mission is to collaborate with the URI community to facilitate and create equitable access by design.
