Natakki Jones

Academic Background & Research Interests

Natakki is a Doctoral student in the University of Rhode Island’s College of Education. She is interested in comparative and international education, focusing on the variety of ways that set education in countries and systems apart. With a background in K-6 elementary education and some experience in Special Education, Natakki is interested in examining the global inequities, as well as institutional, and cultural factors that impact a student’s education.

Natakki holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A.T. in Elementary Education from Quinnipiac University. She is currently a graduate assistant and instructor for the Education Department at URI. In her free time, Natakki writes and publishes children’s books and enjoys reading them during school visits.
