Over the past 17 weeks, the Planning Stage has established a strong foundation for Workday at URI:

• Defined a clear project plan and governance structure to guide implementation
• Successfully converted data into the Workday Foundation tenant
• Initiated redesign of the chart of accounts, transitioning from chartfield strings to Workday worktags
• Designed the supervisory organization structure to define the University’s management hierarchy
• Gathered and documented business requirements for reporting and system integrations
• Outlined a comprehensive change management plan to support ongoing campus engagement
• Documented current-state processes and future business needs to inform system design
• Established a testing strategy, including unit and end-to-end testing
