The Project at a Glance
Workday is transforming how URI manages finance, human resources, payroll, budgeting, and faculty administration. This multi-year project will prepare the University to move these functions into a single, modern platform.
Where we are now
Project teams across the University are currently working through the Architect and Configure phase, reviewing business processes, preparing data, configuring Workday, and getting ready for testing.
What’s ahead
The project is expected to transition from the Architect and Configure phase to Testing in December, marking the next major stage of implementation.

What is Workday?
Workday is a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform used by colleges and universities around the world to manage finance, human resources, payroll, budgeting, and other administrative functions in one integrated system.
At URI, Workday will replace PeopleAdmin, eCampus HR, and eCampus Financials.
