Customer Confirmation Sessions

URI team members are getting a closer look at Workday during Customer Confirmation Sessions taking place from late September through early October.

Working side by side with Workday consultants, URI teams are walking through key business processes in the system, asking questions, reviewing testing issues, and confirming that Workday is being configured to support the University’s needs.

Seeing Workday in action

The sessions give team members an opportunity to move beyond plans and see how work will actually happen in Workday.

Together, URI teams and Workday consultants are:

  • Walking through key business processes in Workday.
  • Confirming that processes work as expected for URI.
  • Reviewing open testing issues and working through outstanding questions.
  • Identifying changes to current processes and discussing what those changes will mean for the campus community.
  • Building understanding and preparing for the next phase of testing.

Workday consultants are also providing hands-on guidance throughout the sessions, helping URI team members explore the system and address questions as they arise.

Why this matters

Each session helps turn what has been designed and tested into a clearer picture of how Workday will support day-to-day work at URI.

By working through questions and issues now, teams can identify needed changes early, strengthen their understanding of Workday, and help prepare the University community for what’s ahead.
