What is your responsibility as a 2016 URI Energy Fellow (i.e. what team are you on/where are you working)?
Currently as an Energy Fellow, I am working on the Efficient Building Fund. This is a long-term financing plan to help municipalities and public schools reduce their greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency projects and renewable energy projects. As an Energy Fellow at URI, I help with benchmarking municipalities and public school’s energy use and expenditure to discover buildings which may need retro commissioning. I also provide assistance with generating energy management plans and comprehensive energy plans, as well as technical assistance with operating Energy Star Portfolio Manager. I am looking forward to begin networking with other energy professionals during the NEEP summit. I am also looking forward to obtaining as much information as I can about regional energy policies, as I feel it will help me become more successful in the future. What I like most about being an Energy Fellow is knowing I am learning the foundation of what is required to be a valuable asset in the energy sector.

In my free time I like to…
I am in the Rhode Island Army National Guard, and I work for them as an automated logistics specialist. Also, in my free time, I enjoy freshwater fishing.
