Biography

Sandra is a Research Assistant II in the Cancer Prevention Research Center at The University of Rhode Island.  She joined the University in April, 2014 with more than seven years of experience in health care research.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from Hofstra University, and is a Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist.  She also has more than three years of experience working with special needs students.  Sandra currently is working on Project EASY, where she recruits, interviews, and assesses youth referred from social service agencies for at-risk behaviors.
