Student Awards for Excellence in the Humanities

As part of our annual Humanities Festival each Spring, the Center for the Humanities acknowledges one undergraduate student and one graduate student who have demonstrated excellence in humanities-related study throughout their academic careers. Students are nominated by faculty members who recognize the high quality of the student’s academic rigor and passion for the humanities. Winners are awarded $500 each.

Nominations for 2020 are due Monday, March 16th. For questions, please contact the Center for the Humanities Director at urihumanities@uri.edu.
