Biography

Dr. Ashlea Rundlett joined the URI faculty in the Fall of 2017.   She specializes in Latin American politics with a special focus on Brazil, political corruption, and research methodology. Her published work has appeared in journals such as the American Political Science Review and the Journal of Conflict Resolution. In 2023, she won a College of Arts & Science Teaching Excellence Award. A native Rhode Islander, Ashlea was excited to return home after spending years in the Midwest.
