Thanks to you, our alumni, friends, and corporate sponsors, we have been able to support promising young theatre students, stage original productions, improve our facilities, and touch the lives of Rhode Island schoolchildren through a one-of-a-kind high school matinee performances and our traveling theatre troupe.
Your gift helps provide a conservatory experience within a pre-professional liberal arts setting. Artistically vibrant, relevant and rooted in collaboration, our unique production program enriches all students and serves the educational and cultural needs of the university and the greater Rhode Island community.

Scholarships
You’ll influence generations of URI Theatre students to come. Your gift to our endowment supports the URI Theatre Endowment Scholarship and the Thomas R. Pezzullo Memorial Scholarship.
School Matinee Program
The URI Theatre Department is the only institution of higher education in Rhode Island to offer special school matinee performances. Your gift supports tickets and transportation for students that would not ordinarily be exposed to live theatre.
Acting Out
The Acting Out Theatre Troupe, comprised of URI Theatre students, tours Rhode Island schools using drama as a tool to examine contemporary social issues for children and youth.
Capital Campaign
Your contribution can help us provide ongoing improvements to all classrooms, equipment, and performance spaces, including the Robert E. Will Theatre.
