The Learning and Education in Action (LEiA) degree teaches pedagogical development in varied community, industry, and organizational learning spaces. In this education degree program, you will develop essential skills and competencies for designing, evaluating, and implementing effective learning experiences in diverse, community-based settings. The degree is flexible. Students choose from three structured focus areas or design their own pathway that aligns with unique interests and career goals; 1.) Place-Based Learning; 2.) Meeting the Needs of Diverse Populations Locally and Globally; 3.) Adapted Physical Education; and 4.) Student Defined.
