Biography

I am thrilled to help URI students thrive during this special time in their lives. I am a part-time advisor and work with students in the College of the Environment and Life Sciences. I have an MS in Counselor Education from the University of Wyoming and I have worked in student affairs in many capacities and at many institutions. I have been an advisor, career counselor, residence life manager and adjunct instructor at the University of Wyoming, North Dakota State University, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Seeing so many different colleges, places, and students I can truly say that the University of Rhode Island is a great place to be! There are so many opportunities and connections that students can make here. Student success is my passion and I will do what I can to help you get the most out of your college experience and set for your next adventure in life. I hope every student who comes in my office feels warmly welcomed and leaves with the information they need. In my home time, I love being a mom to three busy kids who range from high school to elementary school.
