Biography

Melissa DeJoseph graduated from URI in December of 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and will graduate with a Master’s in Public Administration in December of 2024. She came to URI in October of 2022 as the Administrative Assistant to the English and Africana Studies Departments. She has worked as a Grant and Contract Specialist in the Dean’s Office since December of 2023. Melissa assists faculty with all aspects of the grants process including, but not limited to, grant searches, proposal submissions, budget creation and monitoring, and award setup.
