In October, seven A&S alumni returned to campus to facilitate a career workshop for students. Thanks to Elizabeth Berman ‘09, Michele Caprio ‘90, Jim Ferrara ‘89, Tonya Glantz ‘90, Jason Kirkpatrick ‘92, Caitlin O’Donnell ‘10, Kathleen P. O’Donnell-White ‘90, thirty students spent 90-minutes gaining advice on interviewing, resume building, finding that first job, discovering internships, and more. Students left with a better understanding of how their skills translate to the workplace and with alumni contacts to help them in their career journeys.
Are you interested in giving back to the College of Arts & Sciences like these alumni? We are calling on you to help our students prepare for the world after graduation, as we actively build a community of mentors, supporters, and friends – the Arts and Sciences Alumni Network.
For this network, we seek alumni who are interested in sharing their stories and career advice with students, providing contacts for professional networking, helping us grow internship opportunities in Rhode Island, around the country, and across the globe. You can be an invaluable resource for our students.
