Theatre major Erin Doyle ‘22 interned at The Gamm Theatre in Warwick, RI.
“Up until this internship I’d only worked in educational settings, so it was really interesting to learn how a professional theater works,” she says. “It’s given me a whole new perspective on what theatre looks like and it was a great experience to learn more about carpentry, which is the area of theatre I’ve spent most of my time in. The technical director and assistant technical director are the only two people building the set besides me, so I learned a lot of techniques to build efficiently with only a few people.”
