What makes the College of Arts and Sciences at URI unique?
The faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences make it particularly special as they will ensure you have the resources you need to succeed. And I have yet to have taken a boring class!

What accomplishments are you most proud of while at URI?
Winning a national championship as a captain of the men’s club volleyball team was my proudest achievement.

What research projects, internships, and/or study abroad programs did you participate in at URI? How did they enhance your education?
I studied abroad in Braunschweig, Germany in the fall of 2019. It was an incredible experience and I will always treasure the new connections I made, the trips throughout Europe I went on, and the international perspective on the world that I developed while I was abroad.

What do you value about your liberal arts education?
I value the critical thinking skills that I developed as a result of my liberal arts education very highly. The ability to break down and analyze complex situations and evaluate new information is critical in today’s world.

What’s next for you?
I will be returning to URI in the fall to pursue a master’s degree in International Relations. Once that is complete, I see myself working in the Foreign Service or potentially somewhere in education.
