Project:
VR for Theatre: Bridging the Gap Between Design and Other Artists
Liam Horne is looking for ways to use virtual reality as a tool to help lighting professionals, set designers and others to envision their work. The idea is to combine 3D computer-aided design files of theatre layouts with virtual reality headset technology, enabling designers to work in virtual space. Lighting and set designers often lack access to theatre space for a production until late in the process. The ability to work in virtual reality could help them to more effectively realize their designs.
