Biography

Stacey is a principal attorney at SUGARMAN in Boston, a civil trial practice focusing on defective products, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and other complex matters. She has been recognized in Massachusetts Super Lawyers every year since 2013 and was named to Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2019. Stacey is active in local bar organizations and regularly participates in events for law students and undergraduates. In addition to her legal practice, Stacey has represented clients pro bono through the Women’s Bar Foundation’s Elder Law Project and Family Law Project.

Stacey graduated from URI magna cum laude in 2002, also a member of the University’s Phi Beta Kappa chapter. She joined SUGARMAN in 2008 after graduating from Boston University School of Law and became a principal of the firm in 2016. Stacey resides in Massachusetts with her husband, Joe, and their English bulldog, Dexter. Stacey is thrilled to be a part of the College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board and enjoys giving back to the University and its students.
