Major: Sociology / Human Development and Family Sciences

Activities: Fundraising and community service within my sorority chapter Sigma Kappa, Sociology Club, RhodyTHON, The HDF (human development) club, assistant to the vice president of alumni relations for Sigma Kappa. 

“My grandmother is one of the people I look up to most and aspire to have even an ounce of her compassion in my lifetime. To know she was treated differently for who she was was just another reason why I chose social sciences, specifically sociology, human development, and social work, to focus my career and life’s work on. After I graduate from URI, I am planning on going to Graduate school to obtain my Masters Degree in Social Work to be able to help children and families through whatever hardships they are enduring at the time.”
