We’re excited to announce that Writing Across URI has joined the Office for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning. This transition strengthens our mission to champion writing excellence throughout the URI community.
The focus of our team remains unchanged: fostering a vibrant culture of writing across campus by supporting faculty in their dual roles as writers and educators. We continue to offer retreats, forge strategic partnerships, provide personalized consultations, and facilitate collaborative writing groups that bring together faculty from every discipline.
Summer Writing Retreat
Writing Across URI (now housed in ATL) invites all URI writers to join our Summer Writing Retreat. Keep the momentum going on your academic article, grant proposal, or creative project! There’s no formal program: just bring your laptop and other materials, plus your own lunch/snacks. We will provide coffee and tea! The retreat will be held on Tuesday, May 19th – Friday, May 22nd from 9 AM – 3 PM each day. Join for an hour or stay all day! Register here.
